Nathan Mark Schlitter (born March 18th 1987) is a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He previously received his undergraduate degree at The University of Iowa in Iowa City. He is well known for his research in American History, specializing in World War II.

In 2009 he received Flora Bella Houston Memorial Scholarship to continue work on his senior thesis in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.


Childhood

Schlitter grew up in Champlin Minnesota, a Northern suburb of Minneapolis. He participated in a variety of sports in his youth including baseball, basketball, airhockey, and captained his varsity cross country team at Champlin Park High School. He graduated in 2006 with the highest honor roll.
