From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Agile Learning Centers are alternative schools that operate on the principles of agility and student self-direction.

History

Agile Learning Centers came out of democratic education. In 2013, the Manhattan Free School transitioned to an Agile Learning Center in an attempt to update its practices to be more adaptable and modern. The model of the Agile Learning Center borrows framework, such as feedback loops, from agile software development.
