Rami Lokas is an Egyptian who is part of the Coptic diaspora. Born and raised in Sudan he attended university in USA. He achieved an Associates of Engineering from Essex County College, a Bachelors of Science from Georgia Tech ( Georgia Institute of Technology), and a Masters in Solid Mechanics from MIT ( Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He currently works as a Senior Director of Research and Development for Omneo which is a Siemens business. He lives in Charlotte with his wife Yaohua Chen and two boys Lance and Calvin.
