North Yangtze high-speed railway

Surveys for the river crossing took place in 2020. [1]

Length of 554.6 kilometres (344.6 mi), speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph).

Stations:

East Guangdong intercity railway

East Guangdong intercity railway is a network of planned railway lines. The lines will have a speed limit of 160 kilometres per hour (99 mph). [2]

There are three planned sections:

  • Chaozhou East to Chaoshan Airport
  • Chaoshan Airport to Jieyang South
  • Shantou to Chaoshan Airport
