The killing Saints, an organized Texas gang consisting mostly of Hispanics, was formed in 1985 by Alexandro Ortega, known as Jefe (English: Boss), for the purpose to protect and help it's members and member's families from rival gangs and poverty through drug selling and murder. During the year 1994 a new rival gang sprouted, called the Saint Slayers, claiming the entire gang's purpose was the elimination of the Killing Saints. The Saint Slayers didn't have the firepower or manpower that the Killing Saints had been able to gain, leaving the Saint Slayers nearly destroyed again and again over the years. Though June 1st, 1996, Alexandro's wife and daughter had been shot and killed by the Saint Slayers in a drive by near his house, which left Alexandro to seclude himself from the rest of the world. In his secluded time, the Killing Saints went into a period of chaos with many of it's high ranking members fighting for the seat of power, and slowly but surely, leaving the gang unorganized, and disbanded. By 2000, Alexandro had left his secluded life and rejoined the now small gang, the Killing Saints, with the sole wish of destroying the Saint Slayers. With the original leader back in the seat of power, Alexandro managed to hold back the Saint Slayer's attacks for a period of time, and was able to gain a lot more members for the gang. Year 2006, the Killing Saints was a force to be reckoned with and completely overshadowed the Saint Slayers, and did manage to destroy the entire gang. As little as they showed themselves in public and let their presence be known, the Killing Saints gang made up of more then 2,000 members, consisting of kids and men from 9-30 years of age, had silently and entirely disbanded when Alexandro Ortega gave the word of resignation. With each member sworn to secrecy, very few records show the gang's activities, and even fewer people know the name. Though it was never recognized, the Killing Saints were a powerful force. This is the only document of the gangs history.
