Peter Lee (Australian Martial Artist) new article content ... Peter Lee is an Australian Martial Artist. He was born on May 29, 1967 at Port Kembla, Australia. Hanshi Lee left school at an early age and took a position with a carmaker in Sydney. In 1985 he was involved in a horrible accident on his motorcycle when he slipped on a wet road and fell into the path of an oncoming car. He actually stopped breathing, but revived a few minutes later. The impact severed all nerves in his right arm, and the arm had to be amputated.

After the accident Peter Lee immersed himself in the study of martial arts. He studied their history, and schools of thought. He worked at understanding the various ways of thinking that created the various branches of the arts.

A partial list of the martial arts he has studied includes Kodokan Judo, Goshin Ryu Karate, Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu, Jow Ga Kung Fu, Gojute Kempo, Black Lotus Martial Arts System, Zendokai Goju Karate, and Systema.

Hanshi Lee is the founder of Kenseiryu, an International Martial Arts Organization. He also has membership in the Black Dragon Fighting Society International, The International Fighting Arts Association, and the Korea Hapkido Association.
