Chapter 1 Information

The first chapter follows junior Nick McAllister ( Sean Murray) as he joins the school's lacrosse team and forges a relationship with his step-brother who just transferred from boarding school Jackson McAllister ( Joe Lafferty), while also coming to terms with his studies and finding out the biological parents of Jackson. This in turn, has the brothers begin to bond. Nick and Beth Lange ( Emma Bush) begin a relationship. Sara Owens ( Kay Burton) finds out that she has a brother, but he may not be what she expected him to be. At the end of the chapter, Jackson gets into a car accident, and now has to deal with the rest of his junior year in a wheelchair.

Chapter 2 Information

Chapter two chronicles the remainder of junior year in high school. Sara finally gets to know her long lost brother. Jackson gets involved with some shady characters in therapy which includes meeting Cassie Halleck ( Claire Lenz), who is actually homeless after leaving home and is now working as a helper and bar waitress. Beth is hit-on by a substitute teacher at school which angers Nick having the two fight at a bar.
