With a strong balance sheet and renewed credit agreements, Interfor is well-positioned to withstand further market uncertainty and to take advantage of opportunities that are expected to arise in the next future. In particular, increased demand from China and other offshore markets, along with on-going production curtailments, have contributed to improved demand/supply balances and higher prices on most commodity items.
