Duane Lundy is a record producer and guitarist, and the owner of Shangri-la Productions in Lexington, Kentucky.

Career

After years as a touring band guitarist, Lundy began to explore recording and engineering music. [1] In 2006, Lundy expanded from an elaborate home studio, opening Shangri-la Productions with "vintage and state-of-the-art equipment." [2]

Lundy has collaborated with fellow producers including Stephen Trask, Jim James, and Eddie Kramer. [3] He has recorded and produced bands and singer-songwriters such as Sunday Valley ( Sturgill Simpson), [4] [5] [6] Vandaveer, [7] These United States, Ben Sollee, Freekbass, [8] The Apparations, JoAnna James, Mike Mangione, [9] Joe Pug, Johnny Bennett, [10] Emily Hagihara, Stacy Rock, [11] The Bosch, [12] The Scourge of the Sea, Chloe Charles, and Dawn Landes.

Lundy also plays guitar in the rock band Chico Fellini, whose debut self-titled CD was named Album of the Year by the Editor-in-Chief of Redefine Magazine. [13]
