Neff became famous from their early sales of beanies and hats to snowboarders. They were created by buying and hand making beanies so that they could add there own Neff touch to them. The rapid production of their headwear gave them the ability to branch out and begin making more Neff appael. Now across skate, surf and snowboarding stores world wide Neff is not only selling their beanies but t-shirts, sweatshirts, tanktops, snapbacks, and other small accessories. Founder
Shaun Neff was a college student in Utah, where snowboarders dream of being and its when the dream of Neff began. Shaun started out asking well-known snowboarders if they would being will to wear a Neff t-shirt to get the name around. Already being apart of big name companies they were not allowed to advertise other companies t-shirts under their contracts. Shaun took the time to review and read over every small detail of their contracts trying to find a loop hole and he did. [3] Boarders under contract couldn't wear t-shirts from other companies but it never said anything about them wearing a beanie. This was all Shaun was looking for was a small spark to get his company name out there and it worked. After a couple years many of the top snowboarders in the country were supporting Neff's beanies.
Clothing
Neff offers many different styles of clothing and no two shirts are alike. Many shirts and sweatshirts have the orginal Neff logo face on it but they will come in different colors and styles. [4] There are other unique styles that Neff brings to street wear stores around the country with the Neff lumberjack and yeti.
Small Accessories
Along with stylish clothing apparel and headwear, Neff has small accessories as-well. Sunglasses, wallets, gloves, and watches are a few of the accessories that Neff offers. The wallets and watches support Neff by having its logo on the front of them. Neff offers small accessories for every season and for year round activities.
Snoop Dogg
One of the biggest supporters of Neff is the famous rapper, Snoop Dogg. He has partnered up with Neff and has even created his own logo. Snoop Dogg and Neff teamed up to raise money for Japan after their Sunami relief found. [5] He advertised Neff during the MTV Video Music Awards while singing California Girls along side Katy Perry.
