Introduction
Easing The Badger was a band formed in Weston, Idaho in 2005. Originally called Commander White and the Starship Troopers. The band comprised of Jesse White (lead vocals), BJ Fitzgerald (bass) Tyler (T-Liv) Livingston (guitar) and Randy Jacobson on the drums. They primarily covered songs. Ok, truthfully, it was one song, "Killing In The Name Of by Rage Against The Machine. The band dismembered after T-Liv moved to Kansas. The remaining members revamped, which gave way to one of the most unique and original band names ever, Easing The Badger ==

History
In late fall of 2006 Easing The Badger members Jesse White (vocals), BJ Fitzgerald (guitar), Josh Mumford (vocals/ keyboard) , Jeff Penrod (bass) and Randy Jacobson (drums) began writing music and practicing in Jacobson's basement. It was there that they produced their first single, "Lee". Lee wasn't all that great of a song but it was a song and they were proud of it. Next hit single was the controversial "Jodie Cook Gossip". Met with mixed local feelings the, the song proved to be popular and quickly became a fan favorite. But it was they're song Visions of a Normal Life that was their chart topper. Written by band member Mumford the song was about a troubled local teen who refused to stop driving his car even after having his license revoked. The band played their first concert in March 2007, right in downtown Weston at the park. The show proved to be a huge success with about 50 people there. The band played other shows in Blackfoot, Idaho at Tony's Family billiards and Soda Springs, Idaho at the Caribou Inn. Early summer 2007 became the most controversial and pivotal moment in the band's history. All of a sudden frontman, Jesse White, was no longer part of the band. Rummers have swirled about what happened but the truth is still unknown. Some have said that he was let go and not even told. Others have said that he was kicked out because he couldn't carry a tune. Still, others have said that he wanted to part ways with the band and focus on a solo project. He did still make appearances at practices when he found out about them and became the self proclaimed band manager. They even let him be the guest unclean vocals in their last hit single "I'll Build My House With Bricks".

Future
The future is bright for Easing The Badger. They've recently redone band shirts, so that means they could make a comeback. Either way, the whisper of ETB still floats the hallways of West Side High School and will continue to do so because of the large impact they had on the community. Easing The Badger, please come back.
