Thistle Hill Fleetwood (1999 - ), nicknamed "Mac," is a 15.1 hand horse, who competed nationally at eventing. Ridden by Emma Dougall, he performed exceedingly well at such events as the Sydney CIC1* . An Australian Stock Horse. His success and small stature earned him the nickname "Little Black Pony"

Thistle Hill Fleetwood (or "Mac") is by the 15.2 hh Australian Stock Horse] stallion Boonderoo Blackwood.

Thistle Hill Fleetwood is out of Mobile Fleet, a 15hh Australian Stock Horse mare. The sire of Mobile Fleet was an Australian Stock Horse by the name of Check Mate 02.

Competitive career

Thistle Hill Fleetwood started his career in 2001 competing in local Queensland Stock Horse Classes. It was not until 2005, as a 6 yo that he first showed some potential as a Show Jumper. Robert Goodwin started riding him in 2007 and rode him competitively on the Northern NSW Show Jumping Circuit and the Queensland Show Jumping circuit in 2007. During this time he showed his turn of speed and agility and went on to earn 30 EFA points in one season taking him from D Grade to C Grade. In 2008 at his first event for the season he gained enough points to go up to B Grade and he spent the rest of the season competing again on the Cairns Circuit in Queensland. "Mac" had 2009 off due to family reasons after competing in the inaugural Youth Olympics Festival at SIEC NSW where he was ridden by Japanese Junior Show Jumper Yuya Ikarashi.

2010 was the start of "Macs" Eventing career and soon showed that he could excel in this sport equally as well. Ridden by Emma Dougall he soon rose through the ranks firstly competing in Introductory and Preliminary Events in April, Pre Novice in May June and CIC1* in July. "Mac" has only once placed outside the top ten and has only had 1 show jumping rail to date.
