Gothic Chess, a chess variant

My name is John Cartaphilus. I play a great many games of Gothic Chess. Like some chessplayers who have tired of experiencing a plethora of draws, I have turned to Gothic Chess as my preferred game of choice.

I am currently ranked 4th overall in Gothic Chess from the thousands of games that were played on GothicChessLive.com before it went into hibernation. Ranked #1 is a very strong program named Gothic Vortex: http://www.gothicchess.com/gv_release.html and #2 is the game's inventor, Ed Trice. #3 is a player named Umbra: http://www.gothicchesslive.com/one-players-games.php?id=379 which is supposedly none other than Bobby Fischer.

You can see me here http://www.gothicchesslive.com/players-games.php and you can replay all of my games of Gothic Chess here http://www.gothicchesslive.com/one-players-games.php?id=174.
