Is full name is Álvaro João Gonçalves Correia de Lemos, but he is better known as Álvaro Gonçalves, he was born on Setember 16, 1967, in Mozambique, he is the son of Maria Augusta da Conceição Gonçalves (born in 1933) and Álvaro Arnaldo Almeida Correia de Lemos (born in 1929), he as a sister, Maria Cecília Gonçalves Correia de Lemos (born in 1975).
