Sheila Spence (b. 1952) is a Canadian photographic artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. [1] She is a member of the artist collective Average Good Looks (with Noreen Stevens), known for an anti-homophobia billboard campaign in the early 1990s. [2] Spence has served as director of Martha Street Studio and was appointed Director of Administration and Development at Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art in 2014. [3] [4]
