Lola Danza, born in Fort Polk, Louisiana is an American jazz, avant garde vocalist, improvisor and composer. Ms. Danza currently resides in NYC.

Career

A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston from which she received a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance. She then received a Master's degree from the Aaron Copland School of Music in New York City.

Ms. Danza has worked and recorded Ra-Kalam Bob Moses, Ben Monder, Ornette Coleman, John Lockwood, Mat Maneri, Steve Kuhn, and Leni Stern. She has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

Lola Danza is also the founder and owner of Evolver Records, an avant garde record label in NYC.
