Mr P.K Bishnoi, is Chairmman cum Managing Director of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) which is the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He earlier served as Director(Finance) in the same organisation.

Mr Bishnoi was born on 3rd July 1951 at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, India. After obtaining in Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in 1972 he joined Larson and ToubroLtd., in their Earth Moving Equipment Division in Mumbai. In 1976 he obtained the MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He was then selected as a consultant in the Project Appraisal Division in Planning Commission at New Delhi where he worked till 1977. Later he joined Balmer and Lawrie Co Ltd and worked there in different functional areas of various business units and rose to become the General Manager in 1991. Mr Bishnoi became Director (Finance) of Balmer and Lawrie Co Ltd in January 1998 and later as Managing Director of the same company in October 2001. He has been active at Bengal Chambers of Commerce and Industry( BCCI) as its Executive Board Memberas also with Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) in various committees. He assumed charge as the Chairman cum Managing Director of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd on 30th April, 2007.
