Inayat N. Din is a Pakistani Christian [1] business professor who became the first Registrar of the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.

Din graduated from the IBA in 1966 with a major in Management. He started his career with a bank. Soon after he was invited to join the faculty of IBA. During his long stay with the IBA, [2] he taught courses in Management, Accounting and Economics. He has also held various administrative positions such as Deputy Director and Coordinator of the IBA’s Banking Program and Chief Coordinator of the USAID training program. He has served on important committees such as the Sindh and Balochistan Scholarship Committee, the IBA’s Executive Committee, the Academic Board and as a member of the Board of Governors. Din retired in 1999 but stayed on with the IBA on contract till August 2007. In recognition of his services over 40 years, the Board of Governors chose him to be the first Registrar of this Institute. [3]
