Edward Earle Shouldice (3 October 1890-20 August 1965) was a Canadian surgeon best known for developing new surgical techniques to repair hernia.

Early Life and Education

Shouldice was born on a farm near Chesley, Ontario. His family moved to a ranch near Calgary. ^[1]
