A.C. Buchanan is a New Zealand speculative fiction author and editor. They have published short stories and novellas. They are the editor of Capricious, a magazine of literary speculative fiction and criticism. They have also been involved in New Zealand speculative fiction editing projects such as Tales For Canterbury with Cassie Hart, a Christchurch Earthquake Relief Project, A Foreign Country: New Zealand Speculative Fiction along with Juliet Buchanan, which won the Sir Julius Vogel Award 2011 for Best Collected Work [1], and Regeneration: New Zealand Speculative Fiction II with Juliet Buchanan.
