Trisha Ward is a composer and lyricist, best known for writing stage musicals. She was born in the North East of England and started performing in a band and writing songs when she was just 14 years old. At the age of 15 she was diagnosed with scoliosis of the spine and had four major spinal surgeries to correct the condition. This led to her career in the theatre - she was a founder and the Artistic Director of Impact Theatre in her native North East, which was the first professional theatre company in Cleveland, UK.

At the age of 23 she moved to London and was signed by Warner Chappell music publishing. She wrote a musical based upon the passion of Christ, 'Behold The Man' which was made into a film and screened across the ITV network. [1] She also wrote the critically lauded Nightshriek - for which she won the Time Out Critics Award at the age of 16. [2]

She now lives in London and is signed to Sony Music Publishing.
