Great trainers Tom Bracken, Paul Hammic, Colin Lake, Iver Jones and Colin Wilson.

Great Fighters that achiveds many titles throughout the history for Angel abc.

Francie Doherty started boxing at the age of 10.

Paul Hammic tained Docherty..

Francie Doherty did have 50 fights and winning 45 for the Angel abc.

Doherty won the national schools title, from age 11 to 15

Francie won junior ABA Class A and Class B titles and NABC titles from class's A, B and C..

Docherty then went on the to win the senior ABA Title..

Francie Docherty turned professional in 2001 and had a successful record of 4 fights, 4 wins..


PJ Pat Gallagher started boxing at the age of nine

He joined the Angel Amateur Boxing Club and stayed there throughout his Amateur Career.

He was trained under Paul Hammick as a junior and Colin Wilson took over when Gallagher turned senior.

Gallagher had 80 Amateur fights, winning 65 and losing 15...

He won many national titles as a top class amateur boxer, including the NABC class A Title in 1988 and NABC Class B Title in 1989...

he also won the Junior ABA class B Title and the gold medal in the golden gloves tournament 1989...

Pat PJ Gallagher then went on to win the Senior London ABA lightweight title in 1992

and eventually lost in the Senior ABA Semi-Finals, in a disputed decision to the Eventual Champion...

Gallagher represented His country between 1989 to 1992 throughout Europe against countries such as Turkey, Bulgaria, Iran, Germany and Hungary...

His best achievement as an amateur boxer was winning a Bronze Medal at the European Championship which were held in Bulgaria...

Then in 1993 young Pat Gallagher Ak PJ Gallagher turned professional with Frank Maloney

and had a successful career as a professional boxer and is the former superfeather weight British champion, form 1996...
