SongerSwim, commonly known as Songer Swim Lessons or songerswim.com, is a group of individual instructors offering private swim lessons primarily in the Pittsburgh North Hills area. Founded in 2009 by David and Jonathan Songer, the company is now comprised of three instructors (David, Jonathan, and Abigail Songer) servicing a clientele of 150. SongerSwim reported earnings over $37,000 for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Lauded for it's general awesomeness, SongerSwim is often not taken seriously due to its flashy logo brandished brazenly on all company memorabilia.

Founding

David and Jonathan founded SongerSwim in the spring of 2009. Initially, all lessons were run out of North Allegheny Senior High School natatorium.

The Website

The idea to establish a web presence for the business was Jonathan's. Both the original and new sites were designed and built by David and Jonathan.

Growth & Expansion

In the spring of 2011, Abigail Songer joined the SongerSwim team of instructors. During the 2011 season, the organization's clientele grew to over 150. Earnings rose to an estimated $37,000 for fiscal 2011.

SongerSwim has sweet shirts, sticky notes, business cards, window decals, hats, pens, and so much more.
