Hi. This is a single purpose account (you can see all about it here [1]) that I use to edit and discuss contested topics. Before I created this account I've edited without any account for many years. I lost interest in editing Wikipedia and was inactive for some time, until I found new interest in contested topics. I started participating as an IP, but found it very difficult and unwelcoming to edit as an IP in contested topics. I was suggested to create an account. It made participating a lot easier, however it can still be difficult as editors don't have favorable opinion on single purpose accounts. In my opinion, it shouldn't be like so. I think IP editors deserve much more respect. If that was so, I wouldn't even need this single purpose account.
I have had this account since 20th February 2017. In so many years, I have rarely edited articles, as contested topics require much more discussing than editing which would most often lead to edit warring. I've never participated in any edit warring in so many years.
You can see the very small list of articles I've been involved with in my history. To be honest, I haven't spent much time on Wikipedia over the years. I've participated only in a small number of discussions followed by long breaks. I find that sometimes people who edit Wikipedia too much feel that they have to win every discussion. I don't mind leaving a discussion at rest even for years until new sources can be found. I find that in time everything will eventually be settled, even the most difficult discussions. People who are eagerly defending some idea will leave, new people will come, sources will be better and I don't mind waiting.
If you look at my edits, you'll notice I've been much more emotional in my past. I don't come from English speaking culture. In my culture, discussions are much more emotional. I try to lower emotions, but it still sometimes shows up. I hope that in the future , I'll improve much more. If have objections regarding this, you are free to contact me and I will try to improve.
