Nguyen Tran Trung Quan (born November 16, 1992, in Hanoi) is a singer and music producer. He studied at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Trung Quan soon participated in a professional singing career through many competitions across the country. He won the award of "Prospective Young Singer" of light music in Sao Mai 2011 and the top 4 of Sao Mai rendezvous in 2014..

On October 16, 2014, Trung Quân released his first electropop-style album entitled "Khoi Hanh" (Depart), produced by Khac Hung. The album received many positive reviews from the experts, helping him get double important awards at the dedication Music Awards 2015 for "Album of the Year" and "New Artist of the Year"

Early life

Trung Quan was born in Hanoi and raised in a family that did not have a musical tradition. However, Trung Quan’s passion for music was nourished when he was at a very early age. He soon displayed his musical talent, winning many awards at musical competitions as a teenager.

He first majored in piano at Hanoi College of Arts, but his passion for singing has moved Trung Quan to major in vocal music. In 2009, Trung Quan enrolled Vietnam National Academy of Music with the highest score. He wanted to become a soft-music singer. However, his school only had a classical music class at that time. He felt he did not belong to this major, so Trung Quan decided to find one of the best artists, who is also known as people’s artist, named Quang Tho to guide him.

In addition, Trung Quan received additional professional guidance from the elite artist Thanh Lam. Thanh Lam says that Trung Quan is smart and has a great feeling for music. Trung Quan has participated in several musical competitions from toddler and up. At the beginning of 2010, Trung Quan participated in the "Facelook 2010" program which was organized by the Central Youth Union and Vietnam Student Newspaper. He won the prize "Talented Student - Facelook 2010”. The end of 2010 was a big turning-point in Trung Quan’s life when he joined a show, named “Top Hat band”, which was organized by Hanoi city. In the “Top Hat band” show, musician Le Minh Son gave individual attention to Trung Quan. The musician said fondly, " I have not been so inspired in music for a long time, until when I listen to Trung Quan sing".

Nguyen Tran Trung Quan is the youngest artist who has three times singing for top-ranking general "Vo Nguyen Giap" at his anniversary.

In 2011: In 2011, Trung Quan challenged himself in a biggest competition in Viet Nam at that time. The competition "Morning star" was organized aimed at attracting those who was well-schooled in musical school. Overcoming five elimination rounds with 4000 competitors throughout the country, Trung Quan broke into top 9 soft-music field and won the "Promising Singer" and "The youngest singer" awards in 2011.

In 2012: After one year of enrolling in the "Morning Star" competition in 2011, Trung Quan was determined to re-registered the "Morning Star" competition one more time in 2012. At age 20, Trung Quan became one of the four singers who sang best in this competition. ^[4]

In 2013: Nguyen Tran Trung Quan was the only Vietnamese singer who was invited to sing in the meeting with the most wonderful boy on the planet "Nick Vujicic" on May 24. ^[5]. After this event, he continued representing Vietnamese singers to go to Korea for short-term training.

In 2015: Trung Quan spent more time studying and teaching vocal music to other new singers. He has many successful students such as Min, Eril, Bao Tram Idol. Trung Quan was invited to participate in Japan-Vietnam Musical Exchange Program. He also corporated with famous band EXILE to produce new product. ^[10]. In 2016: Trung Quanh establishes his own company, names AD Production, and places the head office in Ha Noi. Together with Khac Hung, this company quickly becomes famous in Musical Market in 2016.

At the end of 2016: Trung Quan along with Khac Hung took part in "A beginning of your dream" program. ^[12]

In 2017: Trung Quan graduated with flying colors in vocal music major at Vietnam National Academy of Music. After that, he decides to continue studying to get MA degree. However, at this time, Trung Quan and Khac Hung finally went separate ways.

In 2018: Trung Quan came back as a singer with two big hits "Mau Nuoc Mat" (The color of tears) and "Trong trí nhớ của anh" (In my memory). In cooperation with Denis Dang, "Màu nước mắt" is an impressive product with unique scenario, professional investment, and great context. With Trung Quan's voice, this product received a great number of compliments from the experts. "Mau nuoc mat" is an important landmark for Nguyen Tran Trung Quan's "plot-twist" music products later on.

In 2019: After a long time, in November 2019, Trung together with Denis Dang and Quynh Luong shock Vietnam musical market with music video "Tu Tam" one more time. Tu Tam gets high marks from viewers not only in Vietnam but also from many countries around the world such as China, Myanmar, Australia, Japanese, Thai, Indonesia. This music video also has a unique concept, unpredictable situations, bold ideas, and artistic scenes. Moreover, Tu Tam integrates Viet Nam traditional values such as Ao Dai, Ao Tu Than, Dan Co, and White Lotus
