Prithika Pathmanathan (born 22 November 1997), known by her stage name Pritt, is a Danish-British singer-songwriter and radio presenter of Sri Lankan Tamil descent.

Early life

Pritt was born to Sri Lankan Tamil parents in Denmark. She moved to South London with her family as a child. [1]

Career

In 2018, Pritt founded A Collective SOUL – an independent events platform representing underrepresented creatives in their respected fields. [2] [3]

In 2020, Pritt was selected as one of BBC Asian Network's Future Sounds 2021 artists. [4]

Pritt took over from Ashanti Omkar in hosting a South Indian and Tamil radio show on BBC Asian Network since 4 July 2021, initially hosting fortnightly, taking turns with journalist Jeevan Ravindran. [5] She took over full-time hosting duties from 12 June 2022. [6]
