The DRI Foundation was recently founded as a way for people to donate time and money to efforts around disaster recovery and volunteerism. At each conference, the DRI Foundation organizes Volunteer Day and an auction to raise money for their efforts.
At each conference, certified professionals attending join together for a Volunteer Day. The Volunteer Day has featured events where certified professionals help at food banks and in disaster-struck areas.
The nonprofit's most notable certification is the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
