Mohammad Nuruzzaman ( Bengali মোহাম্মদ নূরুজ্জামান; born 24 August 1969) is a Bangladeshi Education and Social Worker. He is the Executive Director [2] of Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT)and Daffodil Education Network (DIIT, BSDI, DIC, DIS, DiPTI, MyeKids, PIC etc.). He started his career as Computer Trainer on 1996 at Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) [3] and has been promoted as Executive Director [2] by this time. He is a social worker and founder of many social and professional organizations. He is the founder and general secretary of Bangladesh Software Testing Board (BSTB), [4] which is the member board of International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) [5]. He is married and father of only son Abrar Faiyaz.

Background

Mohammad Nuruzzaman was born in a respectable Muslim family on 24th August 1969 at Meghna Upazila, Comilla, Bangladesh. His father name is Abdul Quddus, a social worker and Mother's name is Zohora Khatun, a housewife. He is the 2nd out of 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Career

Mohammad Nuruzzaman completed his primary and secondary education at his village Kandergaon with scholarships in class V and VII. He passed SSC with First Division in 1984. He is graduated from University of Dhaka [6] and took training on some Computer Short Courses and started his career as a Computer Trainer at Mycrosys Computers as part-time. After six months he has been called to join at Development Institute of Social and Human Achievement (DISHA) as Trainer & Coordinator. By this time he admitted at Institute of Statistical Research and Training, University of Dhaka and completed Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics. During the study period at DU, he joined at Daffodil Computers as a Trainer & Coordinator, promoted as Training Manager then Academic Director, after being academic director he has been promoted as the Executive Director of Daffodil Family and finally in 2018 he has been assigned as The Chief Executive Officer of Daffodil family as well. Now, he is the Executive Director of Daffodil Education Network comprising of 7 different Institutes ( DIIT, DIC, BSDI, DIS, DIPTI, PIC, MyeKids etc.). He has also got extensive advanced training on Oracle RDBMS & Developer/2000, Software Environment (BDMS), Systems Analysis & Design, Project Management, Business Management, Networking, Practical Project using C++ under NCC Education, [7] UK. He completed MBA (Management Information System) and now a Ph.D. fellow in a US University.
