The Great Indian Kapil Show is an Indian Hindi-language sketch comedy talk show hosted and produced by Kapil Sharma. [1] It started streaming on Netflix on 30 March 2024. [2] It is the first indian netflix series to trend globally for a month. [3]
Premise
The series format is largely identical to that of Sharma's former shows The Kapil Sharma Show and Comedy Nights with Kapil. The show revolves around Kapil Sharma and his team of comedians, including Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek and Rajiv Thakur. [4] The extravagant set of the play is a visual extravaganza, set against the backdrop of an opulent airport terminal. Everything about this place is elegant and sophisticated, from the opulent waiting area to the designer retail kiosks, revolving café, and the legendary Kap's unique cafe.
