Georgia Southern

Per this link, it's a regional university. — Disavian ( talk/ contribs) 16:43, 21 October 2007 (UTC) reply

No It's Not

It is a regional University in that it was founded as a regional university, but it's current classification is research university. link

Georgia Southern is a Carnegie Doctoral-Research university providing the classic residential campus experience.

Autocollapse code

For some reason another editor is removing the autocollapse from the template. For those who do not wish to have the full version of the template automatically on your page (i.e. those with multiple templates on your page), you may wish to use the code {{UnivSysGa|state=collapsed}} vice {{UnivSysGa}}. Order of Research Universities

Just a note to explain my edit to the template just now. I changed UGA to Georgia as the displayed name as this seems to be common practice among most of the state systems I checked (Wisconsin, Texas, California). Also, since most folks outside of Georgia probably don't know the official name of Tech as Ga. Institute of Technology, I alphabetized it based the common name so that it "appears" alphabetized to those readers unfamiliar with the Univ. System of Georgia. -- Roswell native ( talk) 06:05, 8 April 2008 (UTC) reply
