Status of non-contiguous states and territories
Is it just me, or is the status of PR, VI, AK, HI, etc., a little hard to figure out? The addition of 3 more numbers in the middle of these floating states and territories would help a lot, I think. --

I was a little confused when I read this thread and checked out the page history, because it seems as if no editing had occurred that would justify Russ Blau's comments. Then I checked out the image and its history, and all became clear: Russ Blau edited the image to add in numbers next to the floating states and territories.
Ah, thanks for that clarification; it's been a few years! Unfortunately, it looks like the numbers Russ added have disappeared again. --
