Thanks Arcadian for all your hard work in extending the {{ transcription coregulators}} NavBox, but unfortunately it appears that only TRIM24, TRIM28, TRIM33, and TRIM65 tripartite motif family members act as corepressors. What these four members share in common is a PHD-BROMO domain which none of the other members of the TRIM family possess. The PHD-BROMO domain is also found in several other coregulators such as p300/CBP and is necessary for binding to the nucleosome and this interaction appears crucial to coregulatory action of these proteins.
