Template needs work

This template needs work regarding use of proper code to establish the necessary columns so the data shows better graphically. I have tried and managed to get the bottom two subgroups coded right. Any assistance would be awesome on this. Indyjrg1762 ( talk) 13:20, 12 November 2011 (UTC) reply

Holy Cannoli!

I have to admit, y'all put a ton of effort into this, but it is almost useless. These don't line up with the new alignments [1] and those change so very often, I don't know it is worth keeping up with. Marginally more useful but exponentially more work is to have a template that showed the regional rivals for each school (which would be many, many dozen templates). This is a crazy amount of work and, without strong evidence that it will be kept up, I will delete it wherever I see it. The Jacobin ( talk) 03:11, 12 August 2012 (UTC) reply

I will help update the template and to also take into account of the addition of 6A Conference. Azndrumsticks ( talk) 02:11, 20 February 2016 (UTC) reply

Separate Template for UIL, TMEA, and ATSSB music regions

I am in the process of creating a separate combined Template for TMEA/UIL Music Region & Area Alignments 2014-16 considering that they have a separate regions from athletics. It will be a combined template for the sake of everything. It will separated into UIL 5A/6A Marching Band Areas, UIL 1A/2A/3A/4A Marching Band Areas, TMEA All-State Areas, and ATSSB All-State Areas. However, they all share the same TMEA/UIL regions so they will be consolidated into one template /info/en/?search=User:Azndrumsticks/Template:Texas_TMEA_High_School_Regions Azndrumsticks ( talk) 22:38, 9 March 2016 (UTC) reply

Template not updated with 2018-2020 alignments?

It seems this template was never updated with the alignments that began to be used last school year? I'm looking at the Alignments page on the UIL website. The fact that UIL posts separate alignments for each sport, in addition to having separate alignments for music that are posted on the TMEA website, suggests this template might be an oversimplification of reality. Labeling it as "high school football regions" could be one easy fix, but I don't know reality well enough to decide that it's the best fix. -- Hebisddave ( talk) 13:23, 21 October 2019 (UTC) reply
