Can we have a proper page on this please, and listing in this template, as it is referenced so often in popular culture? 84.64.81.150 13:32, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Is there a way to put baby blue next to Azure where it belongs, since the list is alphabetized? Ianthegecko 16:52, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
It has been suggested that Category:Shades of organge be moved to either Category:Variations of organge or Category:Varieties of organge. Where this move to go through all Shades of ... categories and their associated templates should also be moved. The discussion is here. J i m p 02:12, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
umm just out of curiosity what color is 'organge'? Nar Matteru ( talk) 03:36, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

This exists in the template, but redirects to a university page. Should it be removed? Metao ( talk) 05:34, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Is there really such a color, or a shade of blue, called ice blue? If such a shade of blue truly exists, I think we should add it to this "Shades of blue" template. The Utah Jazz & the Atlanta Thrashers both use it as one of their primary colors, so why can't it be added to this template or the "Variations of blue" section? Oxford blue, Saxe blue, kingfisher blue Could all be added. Rod57 ( talk) 15:04, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
As the St. Patrick's blue article states, there is a wide variety of colours that have had the name. I think using any one of them, even with a "representative only" caveat, is misleading. jnestorius( talk) 11:27, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Yale Blue is in the template but does not show up. Is there a maximum of 50 entries? BrianS36 ( talk) 05:14, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
The Missing Shade of Blue is, well, a shade of blue. This category is for ... shades of blue. How is my inclusion of a serious Wikipedia article in a category it fits violating any WP guideline? 271828182 ( talk) 21:26, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Don't know if it is reason enough to include Wedgwood blue just because it is recognized by our sister site. hydnjo ( talk) 00:49, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

YInMn Blue was discovered recently and described as a "near-perfect", stable and chemically non-toxic pigment of blue. Let's add it to the template when an RGB value is available. The article is currently an orphan. Sincerely, 27.115.113.102 ( talk) 08:28, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
True Blue (color), UCLA Blue, RISD Blue and Tufts Blue were all merged as a result of AFD. I'll let others evaluate which, if any, should be kept in the template. — siro χ o 00:51, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
