This template is unlikely to ever get completely blue. Rugby union is already very small and cult-like in many countries, rugby league is almost non-existent outside France. I wonder if anyone in Andorra or Nagorno-Karabakh has ever heard of rugby league, or knows there are two different codes of rugby. So shouldn't this template be confined to those countries where rugby league is actually known to be played? Steinbach ( talk) 11:37, 3 July 2016 (UTC) reply

@ Steinbach: Countries can be removed by setting the corresponding two-letter code parameters to nothing in the template, e.g. |AD=. Automatically removing those states for which no articles exist is possible in the Lua-based sandbox of Europe topic, which I should really get back to sometime:
