Why is NECR in the "former" category? The railroad still exists, and is still a regional, so I'm a bit confused. – BMRR ( talk) 20:41, 7 January 2010 (UTC) reply

Adding an {{ update}} tag to a template probably isn't constructive, so let me @ Mjdestroyerofworlds, NorfolkandWesternBoi, BMRR, Farmboybello, Dough4872, and Colonies Chris: some of the semi-recent contributors. If you know the list of companies is correct and complete per a later date than 2006, please update that text. Perhaps it's even correct per 2023?
