I have removed {{ New unreviewed article}} from this template, disregarding the instruction not to "mess with this line". That instruction, I feel fairly sure, was a bad idea, but I should explain why.
This template was added to salvia divinorum, an article that has existed since 2009 and has been edited by many people, and made it appear to be a "new unreviewed article". That was clearly nonsense.
Now, what exactly was the point of including the "new unreviewed article" template in the first place? I don't know. Maybe it was meant to be applied to this template rather than the articles into which this template was transcluded? If so, then I think it should be blocked off with <noinclude>
or some such; not sure of the exact syntax. --
