Frame?

I see that OneEuropeanHeart has been changing this template to one without a frame around it. I think it would look a lot more complete if the frame is retained (cf. this box or this one). Another thing is the short-hand form of Tierra del Fuego, which in my opinion should be used, since it fits better (cf. Rhode Island and Bogotá, which use the short form in all contexts), and also avoids all references to irredentist claims in the far south, that are explained in separate articles. Also, the capital is not a province as the header states or implies, so perhaps it ought to be placed above or below the rest, or written in italics. not really understood what did you mean by "frame" but added margins as africa topics. -- tasc 14:57, 16 March 2006 (UTC) reply
A thin line around it. // Big Adamsky 15:07, 16 March 2006 (UTC) reply
hm, there is a line. :\ i've compared old version with the new one - don't see any additional lines. -- tasc 15:13, 16 March 2006 (UTC) reply
Hnm, maybe the result appears differently on our screens then? // Big Adamsky 15:17, 16 March 2006 (UTC) reply
I've checke in Opera, Firefox and IE. -- tasc 15:23, 16 March 2006 (UTC) reply

I changed the section about Tierra del Fuego, don't problem. =D -- OneEuropeanHeart 23:30, 16 March 2006 (UTC) reply

I would like to revert to [1] that's the way 90% of footer templates are done. Tobias Conradi (Talk) 18:37, 22 March 2006 (UTC) reply

i don't agree. They're all ugly and based on table layout. -- tasc 18:39, 22 March 2006 (UTC) reply
Why? The current one looks fairly nicer and more professional. -- OneEuropeanHeart 06:18, 25 March 2006 (UTC) reply
they old ones are IMO not ugly. Okay table layout maybe not be up to date, but the new stuff is the one that is ugly.
  • flag on the bottom of the upper part, touching border
  • then follows a line of space
  • then follows the content with no margin to the borders

Tobias Conradi (Talk) 23:48, 16 April 2006 (UTC) reply

flag is not touching border anywhere. What kind of browser are you using? --  tasc  talk deeds 06:21, 17 April 2006 (UTC) reply

New Version

Hello everyone. Well, I just make some changes to the template, based on the Template:USPoliticalDivisions, and I added the group of autonomous cities, becouse the city of Buenos Aires is not a province or only a federal district. It is a hierarchical special unit created by the constitution, which, perhaps soon, the city of Rosario will be one. I hope they like. Greetings! Daniel dj87 ( talk) 06:19, 18 January 2008 (UTC) reply
