Is there any particular reason that
Tammany Hall doesn't qualify as organised crime? They were certainly organised and besides their own field of crime seem to have been in joint venture with groups like the
Bowery Boys, so how come they don't get a mention? And more to the point, why were they edited off the template?

Tammy Hall was a political organization not an organized crime group. Members of Tammy Hall worked with gangs but Tammy Hall itself was not an organized crime group. --
