I like it. Don't forget to add it here.--  Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus |  talk  18:24, 5 August 2007 (UTC) reply
Can you improve on the look of this navbox somehow? There's a lot of empty space between the lines, and the word wrap makes it even worse. I changed the haunting peach color of the background. Is Kotwica a national symbol of Poland, or am I missing something? -- Poeticbent talk 22:49, 5 August 2007 (UTC) reply
I wanted to have the background color similar to the shade of red in the national colors, but perhaps your suggestion is better. I don't know if you can help the interlines as long as we use Template:Navbox. I'm not particularly keen on keeping the Kotwica here, but it is included in Category:National symbols of Poland. — Kpalion (talk) 09:22, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply
I liked the white-red variant better :) --  Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus |  talk  13:32, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply
Comparison of flag shades
  crimson    vermilion    red    crimson 2
#DC143C #FF4D00 #FF0000 #D4213D
192130 192880 approximation since 1980

I suggest, if we were to use the white-red color combination as per Piotrus we should take a second look at the shade of red first. The peach wasn't red enough for a flag, and the hue didn't quite cut it for me. -- Poeticbent talk 15:50, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply

That's beacause the actual crimson red from our flag is too dark and the black and blue letters would be almoste invisible. — Kpalion (talk) 16:57, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply
I made a new suggestion directly on your navbox design. Please, take a look. Is that what you meant? -- Poeticbent talk 17:13, 6 August 2007 (UTC) reply
I think it looks pretty good. — Kpalion (talk) 18:41, 14 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Colors aside, I added some more links to the navbox. For now, they're all red links, but some analogical articles do exist in the Polish WP ( pl:Szachownica lotnicza, pl:Miecze grunwaldzkie, pl:Polskie pieśni hymniczne) and there's no reason not to create them here sooner or later. Red link in the navbox may actually encourage someone to start those articles (before I do that). — Kpalion (talk) 18:41, 14 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Looks good, and we should certainly translate those missing articles.--  Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus |  talk  20:27, 14 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Please take a look at the collection of templates at the bottom of the article on Poland. I was kind of hoping that if this template is as wide as those other templates, it would look similar when collapsed, nicely aligned with everything else, however, this doesn't really matter that much to me. The choice is yours. -- Poeticbent talk 00:17, 19 August 2007 (UTC) reply

I see your point, Poeticbent. I will make the choice while moving it to the Template namespace. Thanks for you imput. — Kpalion (talk) 08:06, 19 August 2007 (UTC) reply

Let's move it to mainspace before we forget about it and all the work goes to waste.--  Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus |  talk  18:39, 3 September 2007 (UTC) reply

OK, I went ahead and moved it. Now everyone's invited to work on the red links. — Kpalion (talk) 19:00, 3 September 2007 (UTC) reply
