April 2007 layout

Ok, the old version didn't use any type of navigation box template and was far too wide. Even on a 1280x1024 wide it was falling off the right side of the screen. The best I could come up with was using {{ Navigation with columns}}. It didn't have all of the centering options as the original, but it did limit the width, add the show/hide and v-d-e. Comments, questions and improvement welcomed. —  MrDolomite •  Talk 18:56, 2 April 2007 (UTC) reply

Interim coaches

Italics should be used for those coaches who are interim head coaches. Such should also be noted when there is any in the table. -- AEMoreira042281 ( talk) 15:22, 4 January 2010 (UTC) reply

Expected screen width

What is the expected screen width for which pages should be formatted? For the coach and team to appear on one line a fairly wide screen is required. On a HD widescreen display this isn't an issue but on a low-res standard screen the pairs randomly appear on two lines with the split not always occurring in the best place. Forcing a break makes it always consistent, but leaves a lot of empty space on the wide screen. What to do? How many horizontal screen pixels should this expect? 480, 800, 1024, 1280, 1366, 1600, 1920? Until 2011-12-17, only the coaches first initial was used, restoring that convention would reduce the line lengths slightly but there will still be breaks for the narrow screens. 99.246.116.118 ( talk) 07:49, 5 June 2012 (UTC) reply
