Vampires will Never Hurt You and Our Lady of Sorrows Singles

Vampires will Never Hurt You and Our Lady of Sorrows were never released as singles. I removed them from the Singles category. I suggest they be merged with the I Brought you my Bullets, You Brought me your Love article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Friginator ( talkcontribs) 02:23, 29 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Added noinclude tag to Category: Band Templates

I added the 'noinclude' tag, as specified in the heading at Category:Band templates, without it this was causing each item in the template to be listed as templates themselves, well it was either that or the other inclusion of Category: My Chemical Romance which was doing it - that should probably not be in a template either. amnesiac 11:08, 16 October 2006 (UTC) reply

Semi-protection

Might I suggest semi-protection of this template for the forseeable future? Many templates are fully protected, and semi-protecting this one would eliminate IP vandalism which seems to be happening with regularity. Dar- Ape 22:28, 9 January 2007 (UTC) reply

go for it. icelandic hur ric ane #12 (talk) 00:22, 10 January 2007 (UTC) reply

I agree, recently I had to edit it so that some fangirl's name wouldn't show up as a link. DarkAvenger280 00:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC) reply

Someone keeps adding singles that haven't been confirmed. Mcr616 20:23, 3 February 2007 (UTC) reply

Then please revert them. If it has not been confirmed by the band then please have them removed. Also if they add a single please be sure to check that page to make sure that the information or source was not added on that page.   Orfen  User Talk | Contribs 02:59, 4 February 2007 (UTC) reply

This keeps getting vandalized; I just had to fix it twice in the last 5 minutes. Could we try again for semi-protection? -- Yunaresuka 01:30, 16 February 2007 (UTC) reply

You can try but unless it's a constant stream of vandalism I don't think it warrents semi-protection. Now the article itself does but I'm not sure about this quite yet.   Orfen  User Talk | Contribs 03:18, 16 February 2007 (UTC) reply
I think we should s-protect it. A random ip has vandalised it 4 times in an hour. ~ E meZ x X ` 12:20, 19 February 2007 (UTC) reply

I thought MCR was a post-punk or punk rock band? Thats what Mikey Way said on an interview in a norwegian magazine...

All subgenres are listed in the article. If a subgenre has a reliable source then add it to the article.   Orfen  User Talk | Contribs 21:26, 21 February 2007 (UTC) reply

Template is now s-protected. I don't like seeing IPs vandalising wikipedians hard work. EDIT: Ah wait..I just saw the request page..and was denied. Never mind. ~ E meZ x X ` 11:25, 28 February 2007 (UTC) reply

My apologies.

I didn't realize that this page was vandalized when I saw it. Apparently, you guys have been having issues with it. - Foodmaster.

This seems to be getting vandalised a lot. Apparently The lead singer committed suicide 23 March 2007. Funny, he's been seen on stage since then. ~~Shard Aerliss~~

{{ editprotected}} It's not clear to me what the request is. CMummert · talk 22:40, 26 March 2007 (UTC) reply
I believe whoever added it was requesting protection and was not aware of the process. I do not feel that this template needs to be protected because at the moment honestly what currently is happening can be managed.   Orfen  User Talk | Contribs 01:20, 27 March 2007 (UTC) reply
This template is only semiprotected; any username more than a few days old can edit it. You can check this in the protection log available from the history page (of the article, not the talk page). CMummert · talk 01:38, 27 March 2007 (UTC) reply
I see, my mistake. I was under the impression it wasn't currently semi-protected. That must've slipped under my notice. I have the page watched and semi-protection was denied a couple times before.   Orfen  User Talk | Contribs 01:45, 27 March 2007 (UTC) reply

Major Career?

Reading the "black Parade Uk Tour" in the latest issue of NME, I have come yet again to the conclusion that MCR's "Major Career" should be listed as the Three Cheers and the Black Parade years, as recently the band have gained a much larger fan base. Your thoughts? - Alienpmk

This should be in Talk:My Chemical Romance. However, it means by "Major Career" that that is when their career took off with Three Cheers. The Black Parade has brought them a larger fanbase but with Three Cheers it was the first time they were brought into the eyes of the public.   Orfen  User Talk | Contribs 23:44, 5 April 2007 (UTC) reply
