Closed stations

Does anyone have any objection to my splitting out "Closed stations" into mainline, Aylesbury–Verney J and Brill sections? They were built by three different companies and were crudely welded together by Watkin, and it might solve the problem raised here without resorting to plastering the RDT over every station article. –  iridescent 00:38, 25 September 2010 (UTC) reply

Withdrawal of A Stock

213.107.108.233‎, can you please let us know how you know the A Stock has been withdrawn. I have not found any announcement and it's still listed as current stock on the TfL website. Thanks. Edgepedia ( talk) 14:28, 3 August 2012 (UTC) reply

Difference?

What's the difference between "Closed stations" and "Former stations"?

A closed station ...is closed, i.e. there are no train services. A former station is open, but no longer served by the Metropolitan line. Edgepedia ( talk) 16:23, 13 December 2012 (UTC) reply
