Some users have started deleting logos off station templates like this - this one has been left. Apparently it isn't
fair use policy to include them on a template as such. Feel free to replace this with an appropriate image. The train picture used on the station signs would be a good non-copyrighted image to use instead. I've put a typical station sign picture there for the moment. (

Should we split the MTR station now and proposed?
Should we split the MTR stations present now and those proposed?
If yes, please just move the 2nd-7th counting from the bottom and copy the 7th one (from the top) to it. Remove the footer and the stations before Tin Hau, including Tin Hau, too. Thanks.

If the new navbox is going to be shown per line, then I would rather see separate navboxes for different lines. (see
King's Cross St. Pancras tube station#External links and
Category:London Underground navigational boxes; or the MTR line navboxes in Chinese Wikipedia) They keeps the templates simple by not introducing conditional functions, and the navbox titles stay relevant, unlike e.g. the generic "Hong Kong MTR Light Rail routes" navbox that only lists some of the stations when shown on station pages. — Peterwhy 00:15, 9 January 2017 (UTC)reply

Peterwhy: Sounds good; that would also allow us to link to rolling stock and history/KCR articles, which is a nice bonus.

Peterwhy: Replaced on all open MTR station articles, as well as line and completed extension articles.

Jc86035: Also I have put all of them and pre-existing navboxes into a subcategory, and added interlanguage links. — Peterwhy 02:05, 14 January 2017 (UTC)reply

Peterwhy: As for the other lines, I'm thinking of making them for SCL, SIL(W), Northern Link, and NIL, as well as making a general "future projects" box (line names only) and renaming this template to be for the six Light Rail fare zones only. Would that work?

Jc86035: Looks good, and I guess it is just logical to continue to break rows of this template into separate templates. — Peterwhy 09:15, 16 January 2017 (UTC)reply

Peterwhy: Done, although I haven't added Chau Tau or Science Park to the East Rail Line box, or the Siu Sai Wan extension to the Island Line box; and the East Kowloon Line box is a bit useless right now, since none of the intermediate station articles exist.
