Guidance on addition of storms

A storm will only generally be added to this template if it exceeds the Perils loss investigation level, though this generally doesn't apply to the Nordic region where population density and therefore losses are much lower. please see https://www.perils.org/losses Lacunae ( talk) 21:08, 22 November 2015 (UTC) reply

Why do you think it is entirely down to you to decide what can be added or not. Surely if a storm is already WP:NOTABLE enough to have a page it is also notable enough to be included in the template so that people can find related pages from each article. There is no understandable reason for this separate threshold other than you being difficult as usual. Buttons0603 ( talk) 23:08, 27 February 2020 (UTC) reply
The whole point in using a third party to assess notability was to avoid such accusation. I am under the impression you created a sort of duplicate template which was more inclusive, for your wishes. Lacunae ( talk) 23:13, 27 February 2020 (UTC) reply
I would also point out that the storms are also eminently find-able through their links to their respective "windstorm season" pages. Lacunae ( talk) 23:23, 27 February 2020 (UTC) reply
