Something other than bold

perhaps consider using something other than bold for "missing episodes reconstructed using animation for DVD release." - remember that when on a page, the link to that page goes into bold. 188.221.79.22 ( talk) 16:01, 19 October 2013 (UTC) reply

Seconded. The use of emboldening alone is also contrary to web accessibility guidelines, and our MoS. Likewise the use of grey text. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:46, 25 November 2013 (UTC) reply
I'd suggest using the same idea as in the missing episodes article itself. something like this...
  Marco Polo (1–7)
  The Reign of Terror (4–5)

No; the use of colour alone is also contrary to those guidelines. What is needed is a symbol, such as "#". Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 19:02, 25 November 2013 (UTC) reply
checkY done. now using single and double swords => Spudgfsh ( Text Me!) 21:54, 25 November 2013 (UTC) reply

The Shruiken Versus the Sword

Are there any opinions as to what the two symbols which we are going to use?

I prefer the sword † and the double sword ‡ to the asterisk * Mainly as they are more visible and have no wiki syntax implications (as far as I know anyway). I'm tempted to change it back to how I had it if there are no objections. => Spudgfsh ( Text Me!) 18:51, 27 November 2013 (UTC) reply

I changed it from dagger-and-double-dagger to asterisk-and-dagger because the two are used for very different qualifiers, so I thought they should be more easily distinguishable from each other than dagger-and-double-dagger to keep people from going to the wrong one by accident. Nice fix, thank you. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 22:56, 24 December 2013 (UTC) reply

Unbroadcast missing episodes

Would it be worth creating a section for the original episode 1 of The Daleks (refilmed due quality issues) to and more significantly the filmed episodes 3 and 4 of The Planet of Giants which were famously edited into a single episode? Dunarc ( talk) 18:50, 13 October 2017 (UTC) reply
