Only molecular level chemical components?
Might it be viable to have a link to every page that is for each constituent part of the opium plant (which in itself warrants a page) at this template? Rather than only chemicals so contained? For example:
Opium poppy.

Natural Opiate Alkaloids
The Natural Opiate Alkaloids division which I added was only due to my lack of knowledge of where each chemical would figure within the scope of the other divisions in the chart. I hope there is someone else more erudite in this field and as inclined as myself to help with sorting those out so that the redundant Natural Opiate Alkaloids section (being so as it is labeled what the template is) can be removed.

Oppose — this template, and several related to it, needTemplate:Opioids need a rethink and makeover. Then decisions can be made about page names. To start, the major legal source of opiates today is not opium, but
poppy straw. --

Why don't you just redirect the target to this template? Intelligentsium 20:52, 19 December 2009 (UTC)reply
