Battle of Rovine is part of the Wallachian-Ottoman wars, not of Hungarian-Ottoman wars. greier 10:36, 11 May 2006 (UTC) reply

The following battles are part of Long campaign: 1)Iron Gate, 2) Zlatitsa, 3) Niš and 4)Varna. That means that Long campaign does not belong to this list. I proposed merging of the Long campaign and Crusade of Varna and expect that it will be merged. All battles after 1526 should be deleted because they are all Ottoman Habsburg wars. Kingdom of Hungary was destroyed in 1526 and this template is about Hungarian-Ottaman wars. DragonTiger23 ( talk) 20:38, 21 March 2012 (UTC) reply

You are right about removing them on the basis that the Habsburgs were crowned the "King of Hungary" at the time. In fact Hungary wasn't destroyed but to be appropriate : the remnants of the Kingdom of Hungary existed onwards on the current-day Slovakia territory and was administered as a standalone identity.
