Battle names?

There seems to be some inconsistency in the naming of battles for this War. Why, for example are some present-day/"native" names used, and not others? For example, regarding the battles that took place in present-day Latvia, two use Latvian geographic names ( Crossing of the Daugava, Battle of Jēkabpils) while one uses the contemporary (for the GNW) German toponym ( Battle of Gemauerthof). Shouldn't there be some consistency here? Either the Latvian-named articles should be changed to Crossing of the Düna and Battle of Jakobstadt (currently a redirect), or "Battle of Gemauerthof" should be renamed Battle of Mūrmuiža. The same probably goes for several other of the GNW battles in orther territories. — Zalktis ( talk) 08:13, 29 October 2008 (UTC) reply
