Table No Longer Maintained?

Hello. Thank you for the effort of updating this table throughout the pandemic. I write to confirm that this table is no longer being maintained with current data. Again, thank you. Bobanello ( talk) 20:42, 3 May 2021 (UTC)BobAnello reply

@ Bobanello: Shouldn't it be removed from the Statistics of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States page? Should the template be deleted if not used and outdated? Jroberson108 ( talk) 01:21, 21 January 2022 (UTC) reply
@ Jroberson108: Can we reinstate the table? I can update the figures. Thanks Stattracker24 ( talk) 14:12, 10 February 2022 (UTC) reply
@ Startracker24: Template has been reinstated both here and at Statistics of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States#Measuring case and mortality rates. Jroberson108 ( talk) 22:43, 10 February 2022 (UTC) reply
Jroberson108. Startracker24. Please add date to table caption. Or above it. Can this table be automatically filled in daily? See also this US map and its data source:

I think the "recoveries" column should be removed. Lots of people have recovered without being recorded in databases. -- Timeshifter ( talk) 04:39, 23 February 2022 (UTC) reply
@ Timeshifter: There is no module data that I'm aware of that can be used for automation. It looks like @ Startracker24: manually updates the data and the footer's "Updated" date on a weekly bases, which seems acceptable for me. You two can discuss if any content needs moving or removing. I suggest doing it a new section so this section's topic of "maintenance" stays focused. Jroberson108 ( talk) 07:00, 23 February 2022 (UTC) reply

Semi-protected edit request on 14 May 2021

Hello. I have over the months used this table's case and death counts by state and territory to monitor COVID-19. I recently ovserved that the case and death count as well as the total for those table column, appear not to have changed in several days yet the notation at the bottom of the table states "Most recent edit: 11:30, Friday, May 14, 2021 (UTC)." If this table is no longer being updated with current data, it may offer clarity to readers to note the effective date of the table data. Thank you Bobanello. This template is being updated for content, but the sources are not. What gives? -- SVT Cobra 01:15, 4 May 2022 (UTC) reply

Per capita

Can a 'per capita' column be added to the table? I think it would be very useful as US states have populations from nearly 40 million to under 600 thousand. SVT Cobra 21:55, 1 January 2024 (UTC) reply
